Why a booth
A signature is a name.
A voice is the whole person.
The card table by the door collects twelve signatures and a note that reads Congrats!! Ours collects your brother attempting the toast he was too nervous to give. Your grandmother saying your married name out loud for the first time. The friend who ducked in at eleven and could barely get through it.
Two booths
Both hold the same vintage rotary handset, in white or black. What changes is the presence in the room — and how much floor your venue can spare.
Nearly seven feet of it. Guests step inside, lift the receiver with the party still humming behind them, and say the thing they could never quite manage in a toast. It's also the backdrop everyone wants in their photos, and long after the flowers have faded, it's their voices you'll keep coming back to.
A softly lit arch on a slim column. It settles gracefully into a cocktail hour, a ballroom corner, or a historic house too narrow for the Kensington, and glows there like an invitation. One by one, guests drift over and leave a little piece of the night behind for you.
Three dressings
Every arrangement is built from premium faux stems in a single ivory-and-greenery palette, styled by hand on site. Nothing wilts, nothing browns, and it looks the same at eleven at night as it did at four.
Dressing One
The booth as it is — cream lacquer, brass fittings, warm interior light. For couples whose florist is already doing something extraordinary with the room, and who want the booth to sit quietly inside it.
Dressing Two
A single asymmetric arrangement across the crown and one shoulder, with trailing greenery. Restrained, architectural, and the choice that photographs best in a tight room.
Dressing Three
Full floral envelopment — crown, both shoulders, a cascade down one side and a ground arrangement at the base. The version in the film above. This is the one people walk across a ballroom to see.
How it works
Pick your booth, your dressing, and your phone. A 35% retainer secures your date, and we take it from there.
30 days out, you record the greeting your guests hear when they lift the handset. It takes just a few minutes, right from your browser. Listen back and re-record as often as you like until it sounds just right.
We arrive 2 hours before your guests, style the booth, and test it. Afterwards, every message arrives in a private gallery within 7 days — cleaned, timestamped, and yours to keep.

Before you book
Book anyway. Plenty of couples reserve us before the venue is signed, and we only need your final location and access details before your event. If the terrain turns out not to work — deep sand, a sloped lawn, no viable load-in path — we'll tell you straight away and refund everything except the retainer.
The clock starts when setup is finished and the booth is live, not when our van pulls in. Load-in and teardown are ours, not yours. If the evening runs long, additional hours are $70 each and can be added on the night.
Yes, and most of our bookings are at least partly outdoors. Outdoor placement is $150, which covers anchoring, weighting and UV-protected florals. We need firm level ground — no loose sand, no sloped grass, sprinklers off in the placement zone. In active lightning, sustained winds over 20 mph or standing water we'll relocate the booth indoors, or hold it, at our discretion.
A phone in a room full of people is fairly self-explanatory, and we bring signage with your names on it. But the real answer is that one of us is there. An attended booth reliably collects two to three times as many messages, because somebody is warmly walking people over rather than waiting for them to wander past. That's included.
The handset runs on its own battery for a full day, so your messages are never dependent on the venue. The Marlowe's interior lighting needs a grounded outlet within 25 feet, or we can bring a silent battery pack.
A private gallery link with every message as an individual timestamped file, one continuous track of the whole night, and a download of the lot. Add a USB in a keepsake box for safekeeping. Delivered within a week, or 72 hours if you've added rush.
You get your own portal the moment you book. It shows one thing at a time, in order — a short questionnaire about your event, venue details, your greeting recording, and your balance 21 days before the event. Nothing is asked of you before it's relevant, and everything else is ours: delivery, styling, your venue's insurance certificate, teardown.
Your gallery stays open for 60 days after the event, which is plenty of time to listen and download the archive to somewhere permanent. After that we take it offline — we'd rather not be the only place your grandmother's voice lives. If you miss the window, write to us; we keep a backup and can put it back up.
Yes — we carry general liability and can issue your venue a certificate naming them as additional insured, usually within a day of you asking.
